Pusha T has been on the road stressing the importance of voting and supporting Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The 39- year old rapper stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to discuss voting rights for felons and his classic, “Grindin'”.
King Push dropped a gem about The Neptunes production on the Lord Willin’ hit. According to him, Pharrell threatened to give the beat away to Hov. “He told me that if I was not at the studio in 10 minutes to get the beat, that he was going to give the beat to Jay Z.” Thank God, Pusha made it on time.
When asked about the United States mass incarceration rates issue, Pusha stated “I feel like that’s the most important issue tearing apart our community right now.” As Colbert went onto speak about ex felons not being able to vote, Pusha T simply responded “It’s like you keep paying forever. We have to change that.”
